This baby sloth fell out of a tree and was separated from his mom. The gardeners were taking him around in a wheelbarrow to protect him from the snake that was patrolling the premises. I'm not sure how, but he was eventually reunited with his mom... we saw the two together in a tree.

Interesting how a sloth's life can be in imminent danger and he still manages to look totally laid back.
Thanks Bill! Yes, it was interesting to watch the baby nap as all of us tourists oohed and aahed, knowing there was a big hungry snake nearby!
